Happy Birthday Elly Dear!

One Year ago today I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, at 5 pounds 13 ounces she was teeny but so amazing and perfect. I still remember in vivid detail the labor and the first cry, everything :) My labor was super easy and pretty short for my first kid, 9 hours and in 15 min of pushing she came right out. I remember feeling such an overwhelming sense of love and amazement that such an amazing thing came out of me. That love has just increased and continues to increase with every laugh every word. My beautiful smart girl started rolling over at 2 months and crawling at 5 1/2 months and walking at 9 1/2 months. Shes always been a mover and a shaker and so smart! She will say mama, dadda, bobba, she'll sign more and please and want. there are so many other things she does. I just wanted to publicly say how much i love her and how proud of her i am! I love you elly!!!

Welcome 2010

Well I figured that the new year would be as good a time as any to write a new post.. since the last time i posted was in October.. lol Much has happened since then. For those of you who do not already know, we are expecting baby number 2 in July sometime around the 5th and are so excited. We found out back in october but were waiting to tell everyone till i started getting fat haha. But im allowed to gain weight now haha no losing weight for me this new year haha. We are so excited for baby number 2 though, cant wait!
Another new thing is that elly is walking. she just started one day and is starting to get fast lol. Shes so cute to watch take little steps as she tenitively steps into toddlerhood. Oh i cant believe how big she is. Shes 10 months old!!! Yikes where has the time gone lol We love her so much more than words can say. I highly reccomend children to those of you who dont have them lol. They are the biggest most wonderful challenge ever but the most worth it.
Today is a big day of memories for me, 2 years ago today I met the man of my dreams. It was at a new years eve party that i didnt want to go to but my best bud chelsea made me. Boy am I glad that I went. Even from the moment we met I knew there was going to be soemthing different about anthony. We just clicked, and still do. I love him so incredibly much and probably dont show or tell him enough. He is the most wonderful husband, provider and father. I couldnt have found a better man. He puts up with all my shortcomings, and I have many. I love him so much.. no matter what you girls say i have the best hubby in the world lol.
Well I'll try to keep more posts up. When we find out what were having i'll be sure to post it. Happy new year everyone!! Loves the Lock-Smiths!

Tinkerbell anyone?

Well hello all bloggers!! Halloween was fun for elly and I but poor anthony had to work. Elly made an adorable monkey and I made a pretty cute tinkerbell, sporting my new haircut. Anthony made 50$ on tips but that was the brightest spot in his night.. oh besides us stopping by his work to show off how cute elly was. Well thats our quick halloween update.

The tale of the tooth...

So to update you on the whole adjustment thing, elly sleeps fantastic now, for the first week it was just 5 hour streches (because she was teething) but she broke 2 teeth and now sleeps from 830-530.. I know!!! Its amazing, shes so much happier and everhthing.. Shes amazing.

Anyways the other day she was crawling around on the floor and anthony was on the couch and she bit his foot.. with those 2 razor sharp teeth.. he wast too happy about it but it was funny to me. Her teeth look so cute in her little mouth :) she now eats grahm crackers, and some times we'll give her a french fry lol. But shes getting so big. She's almost 8 months old and so mobile, I think she'll be walking by thanksgiving... YIKES! haha. She keeps us plenty busy and on our toes. Anthony is doing great in his school and not going crazy at work. lol. I am keeping A's in my classes, despite the lack of drive to do homework lol. Today we got to go to Chelsea and Wes Ward's wedding and it was fabulous!! YAY for chels and wes! Congrats and best wishes!

Chiaropractic Update!

beep beep beep ba beep... This just in!
Elly jane slept from 830-230 then 330-9!! i know, amazing. Ever since her adjustment she has been more content, happier and sleeping better every night. When we went in for her follow up, her scan was almost completely normal, hardly any red. I was amazed. They adjusted what was red and said she should be on the mend and she is. Her balance seems to be better, shes in a better mood, and most importantly she's sleeping better than she ever has. I am so SO greatful that heavenly father finally helped me find an answer to my many many prayers. Sometimes im too stubborn to listen and he knows that, so im so glad he helped me listen.
Elly is such a wonderful joy and blessing in mine and anthony's life. So for any moms who just cant get their kids to sleep and have tried everything else, give the adjustment a try.. and I hope you have the same luck as i did :)
